After launching unified EPF portal the main problem that most of the employees are getting is error at the time of Aadhaar authentication in unified portal EPF. As per norms of Employee Provident Fund Organization updating KYC details such as Aadhaar card details and bank account numbers are mandatory to get PF withdrawal benefits. So every employer has to take these details in UAN declaration form 11 during employees joining in their organization.

Earlier employers added those details in emloyerclaims.epfoservices.in but after launching unified epf portal there is a new process introduced to update KYC details of employees.

There are mainly two reason for getting error at the time of Aadhaar Authentication, they are

1. Difference in name entered in PF portal and name appearing on Aadhaar card

The main reason for getting error at time of Aadhaar Authentication is difference in name printed on Aadhaar card and name entered in PF portal.  So every employer and employee must check whether they entered correct name as per Aadhaar records are not.

After introducing unified EPF portal, they are lot of employees are facing this problem. Even some employers also don’t know that there are some details their employees are missed in unified portal EPF.

When any details like employee name, relation details such as father’s name or husband’s name, gender, date of birth and date of joining are  missed in PF portal. When any such details are missed in PF portal then employee will get error at the time of Aadhaar authentication. So it is the responsibility of the employer to add those missing details of the employees. Until the addition of these missing details employees even can’t able to add Aadhaar and bank account details in in UAN member portal also.

    At present name in Adhara card and pan will be the same but still when tried for upload of pf details of employee it showing verification failed and did not match with pf data base may i don’t know what is the reason for this i am humbly requesting for you please suggest the i resolved this problem.

    • It happens when your details on Aadhar and PF account are not matching, It may be your name, dob, or gender … So pls check them.

  3. Many people will going to face this problem. The main issue is, In AADHAR card First name, Middle Name and Last Name is written in one row (e.g. XXX YYY ZZZ), however in PF Unified Portal there is separate line for middle name (e.g. XXX ZZZ in first line and YYY in second line). Considering this format there will be very few chance that people name will match (Unless you didn’t provided middle name in AADHAR). This is ridiculous from EPFO. Typical government website. We can now only seek help from GOD to give understanding about this issue to PF officials.

    I have same issue regarding this Problem, For the purpose i went two time pf regional office Kochi they told to me to give a joint application with the proof, I submit the whole thing but remain the same condition what will do to overcome the issue,please inform me mob :9946666576,pdvaisakh@gmail.com

      At present there are so many employers are facing the same problem and you are telling that you have already submitted the required documents, so please ask them the status.
