EPF members who have recently applied for modification or correction of basic details at UAN member portal can find this status that accepted by employer pending at field office. The reason for getting this message is your basic details modification request was accepted by your employer, but it is pending at PF field office. Once it is approved by the EPF field officer then the details of EPF members will be corrected. The second case is during PF transfer.

While applying for PF transfer we need to choose either previous employer or present employer to approve it. So first your employer will approve your PF transfer request, after that your PF transfer request has to be approved by your PF office. In that case, also you will find this message.

Process Before and After “Accepted by Employer Pending at Field Office” for PF Basic Details Modification

EPF members who have incorrect details such as wrong name, wrong date of birth or aadhar number etc can correct their PF details either in offline by submitting PF joint declaration form to PF office (or) in online at UAN member portal.

Once EPF member applies for correction of  EPF details at UAN member portal then your employer will receive a message in that employer PF portal. Here your employer needs to approve your request with their digital signature of e-sign.

Accepted by Employer Pending at Field Office Means

Once your employer approves your basic details modification request in their employer PF portal then your request will be sent to your regional EPF office. Here it will take 10-15 days to approve your basic details request. In the meantime, you will get the status of your request as Accepted by Employer Pending at Field Office.

If everything is fine then the field officer will approve your request, if is there any further information or physical documents are required then your request will be rejected by the PF field officer. So, in general, it will take 15-30 days to complete the process of correction of EPF details.

How to Check PF Details are Corrected or Not

You can check whether your details are corrected or not by observing your EPF details in the member profile section of your UAN member portal.

Process Before and After “Accepted by Employer Pending at Field Office” for PF Transfer Request

When you apply for PF transfer then first your previous employer or present employer will approve it. After their approval, your request will be sent to your PF office and within 7-10 days then will approve your transfer request. Nowadays even within 2-3 days also EPF offices are approving PF transfer requests. Before approving your request you will see the above message.

But in some cases even after 30 days also the status will be remained as pending at field office, in that case, you need to raise a grievance at the PF portal. Once you raise a grievance at PF portal your problem will be mostly solved or the reason for delay will be intimated to you.

  1. If we mention reason of illness in Pf advance claim, can we get the Pf advance with easily approval ? Or any criteria or document required?

    I know that employee share only we can withdraw but don’t have any medical certificate . Can we withdraw the Pf advance under reason of illness without any document?? Or same get easily approved ??? Please

  3. I was applied forform-13 previous employer to present employer (transfer claim), it is showing as Accepted by employer -> pending at field office from past 10 days.
    it is approved for employer or pf office.
    please suggest me.

    i was submitted request for claiming of form 31 partial withdrawal, but now it is showing as Accepted by employer -> pending at field office from past 20 dasys.
    now tell me what to do next step.

    • Hi Asif,
      Generally, it will take a maximum of 30 days for claim settlement, so it is better to wait if the status don’t change even after 30 days then raise a grievance at the PF portal.

        I have filled form 10c or 19 through o line portal on 10 dec 2019. Still 11 dec 2019 under process now above 25 days . Shall I know how much time to take my pf amount in my bank account.

      • Dear I have file pf transfer request 40 days ago. Same has been approved by previous employer with in 2 days. But still showing pending at field office.
        Now I want to withdraw 75 % amount of the total amount in both pf accounts.
        Due to corona virus EPFO has allowed to withdraw 75% amount or 3 months salary. I have one UAN no. But amount in 2 pf accounts. Is it possible to withdraw?

        • You can withdraw PF advance from your second PF account, it is not possible to withdraw your PF amount from both PF accounts before transfer.

          • I have 2 Pf accounts ,older account has money equal to my 3 months salary & current account has money equal to my half salary.
            PF Transfer status showing accepted by employer & pending at field office since more than 50 days.
            Also I have applied for Pf advance under Covid 19 before 15 days. Now Pf advance approved & now I can get only very less amount less than half of my salary. Which doesn’t worth.
            Cause as in under Covid 19 outbreak, we can withdraw 75 % of total amount or 3 months salary which ever is lesser.
            Cause of pending transfer claim. I didn’t get the required max. Allowed amount.
            What I can do now? If Pf would transfer to current account then can I apply again (second time) for PF Transfer under Covid 19 outbreak?

          • Yes, you can apply for PF advance for the second time, but before you have to make sure that your PF amount is transferred to your present PF account passbook or not. Since it is pending for more that 50 days it is better to raise a grievance at PF portal, so that your problem will be solved.

          • Sir regarding PF Transfer also grievance has been successfully registered in EPFiGMS Portal also before 15 days but still waiting for their revert. What should I do. Or when they will reply ?

          • Grievance also submitted before 15 days regarding PF Transfer pending at field office n accepted by employer before 45 days. Second of advance approved today which doesn’t worth cause of very less amount.
            1)if in future if PF Transfer get approved then Can I apply again ( second time) for Pf advance under Covid 19, If one Pf advance time approved under Covid 19?? Please confirm

          • You can change the reason as illness and apply for PF advance, I am not sure will they give PF advance again for Covid 19 reason.

          • Sir I have filled online Pf transfer claim before 50 days , then got form 13 soft copy. I have not taken printout of form 13 & did not sent to previous employer.
            But PF Transfer status showing accepted by employer with in 2 days of online Transfer Claim claim. Now status showing accepted by employer & pending at field office since more than 45 days.
            So if I have filled online Pf transfer then form 13 required to sign & need to send to previous employer? But same accepted by employer… so what is next… ? Is anything pending from my side?
            I also raised grievance before 15 Daya & their revert still pending..

          • There is no need to send form 13 to PF office, you can send a reminder in grievance portal or after lockdown visit your PF office directly.

          • If we apply for Pf advance claim , & if mention reason of ILLNESSES in claim.. please confirm for illness reason can claim would be approved easily? Or any criteria required? Or any document required?
            Cause in Covid -19 reason only one time advance only permissible…
            Cause of reason of illness mentioned in advance claim can we get the advance or any other thing required?? Please

    Also on other page it is showing for claim that your employer didn’t do the payment what does it means.

    I have filed TDS return and got the Intimation (143/1) letter on 19th Sep. How many days it will take for TDS refund to be credited to my bank account.

    My UAN name and Aadhar name is same in EPFO portal.

    I have not updated my PAN in EPFO portal.

    In AADHAR Card: My surname is coming before my name
    In UAN Portal: My surname is coming before my name
    but In PAN card: My surname is coming after my name.

    Hence i am not able to update my PAN in portal.

    If i have not updated my PAN, Please provide me the % of TDS will be deducted if amount is morethan 1lakh.

    Please help on the below. How to proceed further for claiming the PF.

    As per Employment in my company, My Name in UAN is :- Amareswara Thathireddy

    Name: Amareswara Reddy Thathireddy (as per PAN CARD)
    Name:-Thathireddy Amareswara Reddy (as per Aadhar Card)

    EPFO site is not allowing me to update kyc either Aadhar or PAN.

    I have done below things from my end.

    I have submitted details in EPFO portal for name in UAN Name as per Aadhar.. My employer approved the request and now it is showing as “Accepted by employer–> Pending at BOMMASANDRA field office” >>How many days it will take to approve from Bommadandra Field Office?

    Getting below error while updating PAN-
    Pan verfication failed. (Name against UAN does not match with the NAME in Income Tax Department)

    Getting below error while updating AADHAR-
    Aadhaar authentication failed. AADHAAR number, Name, DOB or Gender mismatch with registered data.

    In this case, which one i need to modify the name in database (PAN or AADHAR CARD) to be the same on both and update the same in EPFO prtal..?

    If possible please someone reachout and help me on 7989895700 this number.

      I did have faced the same issue while adding the adhaar card to my UAN account as the name in adhaar card is different than the PAN card and UAN account.
      As I wanted my name as per my PAN card, hence I updated my adhaar card details and then added it to the UAN account, and then the kyc get approved successfully.

      As you wanted the details as per your adhaar card, then I would suggest you to update the name in your pan card and then add the kyc in UAN. It will be verified successfully.

Hi, I applied for DOB correction 1 month ago. it approved by the employer. but it was still pending at field office. i tried to register grievance, but every time it shows to update the contact details. my contact details are already up to date. i tried my alternative mobile no & mail id also but it still shows the same. anyone please help me for this issue.

  15. I’ve married,, I’ve updated my married name in UAN kyc updation..
    It’s saying accepted by employer and pending at field office.
    However I’ve adhar and pan card with married name, whenever I enter those details in KYC , it’s sowing verification failed ,,, please assist
