How to Get UAN Number from PF Number Online

Finding your UAN number from your PF account number is very easy. But for that, your mobile number has to be linked with your PF account. Most employers will add the mobile number of employees while generating the PF accounts for them. If your employer has also added your mobile number while creating your PF account then you can easily know your UAN number online.

Get UAN Number from PF Number Online

Here is the step by step process to find your UAN number from your PF account number online at UAN member portal.

Step 1: Go to the UAN member portal and click on know your UANĀ option.

Step 2: Now enter your registered mobile number in PF and captcha and click on request OTP option.

Step 3: Now an OTP will be sent your mobile number and enter that OTP & captcha again and click on validate OTP.

Step 4: Now enter your name, date of birth, and select member ID option.

Step 5: Now select your state, PF office, and enter your PF account number and finally enter the captcha and click on the show my UAN.

Step 6: Now you can see your UAN number on the screen and note down that UAN number

It is a simple and easy process, by following this process you can easily find your UAN number by using your PF account number.

What to do if your PF account doesn’t have a registered mobile number

If your PF account was not linked with your mobile number then it is not possible to find your UAN number online, in that case, you need to visit your company or regional PF office.

By showing your PF account number to them you can get your UAN number, because every employer and PF office will have a database of employees UAN numbers.

    My previous organization PF not transferred and UAN was also not in picture that time and now in 2016 that organization closed. I have all evidences of earlier downloaded PF Passbook statement but is there any way I can still withdraw or transfer that old PF under current organization UAN?

    • PF Account Number/Member ID is available in EPF Passbook. Obtain UAN from nearest EPFO. If your aadhar is linked, you can apply in Form-13 for Transfer to present account. Else apply for aadhar linking enclosing copy of aadhar attested by a Gazetted officer, Bank Manager.

MY name is suman M my previous pf no is TN/21962/695 and present PF account no UAN number is 101150127592 FOR PREVIOUS ORGANISATION UAN is not genereated. i am facing problem to transfer my previous PF to present UAN no kindly help what to do i am continiously contacting to conserned office. no result.
