To change your mobile number in the PF account without UAN, you or your employer need to write a request letter to your PF regional office. The request letter written by your employer has more authenticity, so try to ask your employer to write a request letter to the PF office. Otherwise, you can write your own request letter to the PF office.
But before that try to get a duplicate sim of your lost mobile number which is linked to your PF account, it simply solves all your PF related problems. Because once you have a PF registered mobile number with you then you can find your UAN online by using your PF member id or Aadhar number or PAN.
If you don’t have your PF registered mobile number with you and don’t know your UAN number also then it is not possible to find your UAN number online. But if you know your PF account number then you can request your regional EPF office to change your mobile number in the offline process.
In case if you are not able to get a duplicate sim then submit the below request letter to your PF office.
