MID in PF means “member ID“, in simple it is your actual PF account number. While applying for PF transfer online in the UAN member portal you will find this option to enter your member ID. You can get your PF member ID by visiting the service history option in the UAN portal.
EPF members have separate MIDs for each company they worked in it, and all these MIDs are linked to one UAN number.
If you have multiple UANs then you need to enter your UAN to transfer your PF and pension amounts from your previous PF account to the present PF account.
How to GET MID online for PF Transfer
Step 1: Login in UAN member portal.
Step 2: Now click on View in menu and now click on service history in sub menu.
Step 3: Now you can see all your PF member IDs associated with different establishments in which you worked. Now note down the PF member ID from which you want to transfer your PF and use it in PF transfer process.
Note: Even you can find the get MID option on the PF transfer page, but the above-mentioned process is easier than it.
I have a single UAN against which multiple MIDs are tagged. How do I transfer the EPF from all my previous MIDs to present one. Please help me if anyone got into same situation and any of your inputs might help me solve the query, I’ll be grateful for them.

I worked for 3 companies, I didn’t merge the the EPF account of earlier 3 companies. 1st company duration was 1983 till 1997 and 2nd was 1997 till 2006 and the last (3rd) was 2007 till 2018. I have withdrawn the PF but not EPF. I applied for Form 10D for pension on UAN portal providing only last company details but it got rejected and the reason is “Claim Rejected FURNISH PREVIOUS SERVICE DETAILS PRIOR TO 29.10.2007 IF ANY”. I don’t Scheme Certificate of the 1st two companies. I wanted to apply for Pension Increased also.
Can you please help me in this regard.

How do i get the details of old EPS ?
From old company pay slip i see my PF number as AP/nnnnn/nnnnn
*where n is a number.
I am having two pf accounts in different cities one in Ahmedabad and one in Mumbai. Those accounts are almost 15 to 18 years old, I want to withdraw the amount from both account. what will be the procedure since those days no online facilities are available.
Out of this one company has generated MID number and request to connect with present UAN number but unfortunately I am not able to do. Kindly help/suggest the process to withdraw the amount.
You can find your UAN by using know your UAN option on UAN member portal website, but for that your mobile number should be linked to your PF account.
If it is not linked, you need to visit your last company’s PF office and submit a request letter to link your mobile number & Aadhar as well.
This is Rasmi Ranjan I have two UAN No. one of Old ID which is KYC Link is Not Properly and the old working Organization is closed I am trying many time to link my KYC on Online method but he ask me to submit the Joint declaration from and Automatically reject From EPFO,
Due to Company is closed I have not ability to give him to Declaration from so, Kindly suggest me how I solved above problem.
You can submit the joint declaration form and write a letter to the PF office mentioning that your company was closed.
When it comes to signatures of closed companies, EPFO will ask you to take the signature of the bank manager, where you have your bank account.
But before that register, a complaint on the EPF grievance portal website, they can give you a better solution.
