  1. Hello, I am 61 years old, presently retired working bank manager, I have PF Account under ballari Region, which is linked with UAN. The last contribution was made in the above PF Account in May 2023.
I have also another PF Account under Bangalore Region prior to 2006. This PF Account is still not linked with any UAN. This PF Account has some accumulation Balances.
    Now kindly help in following:
    1) Whether BAngalore Region PF Account can be linked with my existing UAN. If yes, please explain the processes.
    2) How to transfer Bangalore Region PF Account accumulation balances to PF Account under Ballari Region.
    .

    Thanks and Regards,

    • You can merge your first PF account with your second PF account online on UAN member portal website.
for that you have to use PF transfer option on UAN member portal.
But as your PF account is very old, you face problems during online PF transfer process, In such case, submit PF transfer form 13 to your second PF office.

  3. When I left my first Company after 4 .5 years and joined new company I took PF amount and
created new PF in this company where I am working for last 12 years. Can I still add my old PF account in current UAN for which I closed the PF and took money. Am I eligible for higher pension as per new EPS rule for the years which I worked in my first company after closing the PF account.

    • If you have withdrawn your total PF and pension amounts from your previous PF account, then that service history will not be considered for a higher pension.
Still, if you want to merge that PF accounts with your current UAN you can apply for a PF transfer, EPFO will decide whether to merge it or not.

    • 1. First, you have to find your UAN associated with both PF accounts, for that you need to visit both PF offices directly or contact them via their email or Whatsapp, or Twitter (you can find those details online).
      2. Once you know your UAN then submit PF joint declaration forms to both the PF offices to correct your PF details.
      3. After correction of PF details transfer your PF from your first PF account to the second PF account. Later you can withdraw the full amount from your second PF account.
