You can upload Form 15G online while submitting PF Form 19 on the UAN member portal. After selecting Form 19, you will see an option to upload the scanned copy of Form 15G. So before applying for PF, fill out Form 15G and scan both pages (parts 1 &2) of the form, and keep a copy on your desktop. Remember, the scanned Form 15G should be less than 1 MB in size.

Step 1: Log in to the UAN member portal with your UAN and password.
Step 2: On the main menu bar, click on Online Services and select Claim (Form 31, 19, 10C & 10D).
Step 3: Enter the bank account number linked to your PF and click on Verify.
Step 4: Now, you will see an option called “I want to apply for”. Here, select only PF Withdrawal (Form 19).
Step 5: You will see an option to upload Form 15G PDF. Upload Form 15G.

Step 6: After uploading Form 15G, upload your bank passbook or cheque, enter your address, and submit the PF claim.
FAQs while Uploading Form 15G for PF Withdrawal:
You have to update your Date of Exit on the UAN member portal. Only then will you see the option to submit Form 19. Otherwise, the PF portal considers that you are still employed, so it only shows the PF Advance option.
The scanned PDF copy of Form 15G should be less than 1 MB. You can compress it online using sites like lovepdf.com and smallpdf.com.
You don’t need to fill Part 2, but you must upload it. It will be filled by the EPFO officer.
