    Dear sir,
I started my job in March 2013 and left in may 2015 with one employer and start job in may 2015 to July 2016 with second employer and now start job from Sept 2016 to till.
We have both UAN nos. All details update in first employee UAN .But in second employee only activate UAN no. KYC not updated. In third present employee UAN activated but KYC pending .
Kindly suggest me to withdrawal the fund amount or transfer in present employee.
PL. Tell me I am very thankful to you.

    1. Rajesh says

      Hi Sanjay Kumar,
You can transfer your PF amount either in online or offline by filling PF form 13. In your case, all your PF accounts are not linked to KYC so you need to update your KYC for online PF transfer otherwise fill PF form 13. But as per my opinion, it is better to apply for online PF withdrawal for first PF account (if it has different UAN number) and you can transfer your PF amount from second PF account to third PF account either online or offline. It is not possible to transfer all your 3 PF accounts at a time.

can u tell me , How to ascertain whether pf withdrawal amount for an employee would be not more than Rs .50000/- limit as i am not clear in every case whether to fill up form 15g or not along with pan card attachment.

          thanks

          1. Rajesh says

            Hi Imran,
First we need to check whether that particular employee has completed 5 years or not. If he hasn’t completed 5 years then we have to check how much employee and employer are contributing every month and multiply that amount with number of months he has worked. If the total amount is above 50000 then submit form 15G along with PAN card.

  6. Amar says

    Sir,
Is there any other method of KYC authentication with UAN/EPFO other then employer approval.. Since my employer does not have Digital signatures registered with EPFO.

    1. Rajesh says

      @ Amar,
At present there is no alternative for KYC approval.Your employer must register their digital signature with EPFO. But if you want to withdraw PF amount with out KYC approval you need to fill EPF composite non aadhaar claim form along with your employer attestation.

  7. Arpana says

    Hi Sir,
I have resigned from my company on Sep15 2016.My KYC document of PAN and Bank details have been uploaded by my EMPLOYER. A week back I have uploaded my AADhar card details in UAN and it is in Pending KYC document.Who would approve the pending KYC??

Secondly, with aadhar KYC present in PENDING KYC section ,do I use Addhar composite form or non addhar composite form for PF withdrawal.

    Thanks in advance
    Arpana

    1. Rajesh says

      Hi Arpana,
Your KYC have to be approved by your employer with their digital signature in employer portal. You can use non aadhar composite form for your claim but it needs your employer signature.

  8. phanikanth says

    HI

My DOB was entered wrong by my employer in the EPF acoount. So my employer has sent a joint declaration form to get it corrected . But the Reply i got from PF office when a grievance is raised , that Updation of the EPF details can be done only if aadhar is linked to UAN , When me or my employer is trying to update the aadhar in KYC , we get the following error ” Aadhar authentication Failed, AADHAR number,Name ,DOB or gender mismatch with registered data.

PF office cannot update the EPF details until aadhar is linked.. And we cannot link the aadhar until EPF details are corrected..

I am following up with EPF but no proper response.. How do i resolve this .. Does going to EPF office help?

    Thanks
    Phani

    1. Rajesh says

      Hi Phani,
Once check with your employer that is there any missing details for your UAN number. Aadhar authentication fails when your UAN number consists missing details like dob, doj, gender etc…. If is there any missing details then please ask your employer to add missing details https://www.hrcabin.com/employee-missing-details-unfied-pf-portal/

      1. phanikanth says

        HI Rajesh

        Thanks for your prompt reply.
So you are saying it will not actually validate the aadhar detials with the server and just checks if all the details in the UAN are filled or not ?
The error which my Employer got is Data mismatch error , May be it is validating with the server and throwing up the error..

IN my UAN portal , i see all the details present except “Martial status” . Will that cause a problem ?

        Thanks
        Phani

        1. Rajesh says

          @ Phani,
Marital status is not a big problem, even without that also you can update your KYC details. You can ask your employer to update your KYC details in employer portal. If it also doesn’t solve your problem then please visit IT department in your regional PF office along with your UAN number and Aadhar card, they will update your details.

    1. Rajesh says

      @ Devanand Kumar,
Updating PAN card is not mandatory for PF withdrawal. It will be used for tax exemption when you are claiming PF amount more than 50000 Rs with in 5 years of service. In remaining cases PAN is not mandatory.

      1. imran says

can you tell us, how can we decide whether to submit FORM 15G while pf withdrawal,

and also how to calculate income to be mentioned in form 15g

        1. Rajesh says

          Hi Imran,
Generally form 15 G is required when a member is withdrawing PF amount of more than 50000 Rs before 5 years of his or her contribution to EPFO. Income should be calculated on all income sources of members like salary, agriculture, rentals etc.
