PF Reauthorization Form for Incorrect Bank Account Details

EPF members who didn’t get their PF claim amount or advance due to incorrect bank account details need to submit a form called PF reauthorization form to their respective EPF office. If your PF claim settled but money not credited and the reason is the wrong bank a/c number of IFSC then you can use below PF reauthorization form to get the refund of your PF claim amount.

What is PF Reauthorization Form

PF reauthorization form is also known as A.S.R form used to get the refund of unsettled EPF claim amounts. EPF members can submit this form for both offline claims and also for online claims.

How To Fill PF Reauthorization Form

  • Write your regional EPF office address to which you have submitted your EPF withdrawal forms.
  • Under subject mention your EPF account number / UAN number.
  • Now enter your returned EPF amount and also enter the date of claim settlement, you can find these details in EPF claim status portal.
  • Enter the returned EPF amount on fields wherever required.
  • Now enter your correct bank account details such as bank a/c number, IFSC code, bank name ban address.
  • After writing your bank account details now write your personal home address.
  • Now sign the PF reauthorization letter and also take your employer attestation.

How Much Time Will Take For PF Refund After Submitting PF Reauthorization Form

Once you submit PF reauthorization form to your regional EPF office then within 10-15 days you will get the refund of your PF claim amount into your bank account.

Can I Submit PF Reauthorization Form Through Post

Yes, you can submit PF reauthorization form through speed post and remember there is no tracking system to know the status of PF reauthorization form. you have to wait for 10-15 days, if you receive your PF claim amount then it is OK otherwise raise a grievance at PF portal.

Can I Submit Reauthorization Form for Online Claims

Yes, you can submit it. But if you don’t want to visit your PF office then correct your bank account details online at UAN member portal. Once your employer approves your new bank account details then you can again claim your PF amount.

    My husband expired on last year.
    I applied for form13. I received a SMS from EPFO in 03/0/10/2022. your claim is under process and will be settled shortly. I checked claim states later I get to know that my claim is settled in some other pf account. In form 13 we wrote a wrong passbook number.
    what should I do now. Could you please assist.

    I have applied final settlement it’s setteld but returned because of wrong IFSC code after Thad I submitted asr form to epfo but may I know I have to reapply again online or asr form is enough.

  8. SIR, My UAN 100204610909 sent ASR form with related documents to EPFO kandivali on 01/12/2020 through regd post and delivered them on 04/12/2020. After several reminders I got a reply on 23/03/2021 through mail that your documents received and handed over to concerned accounts branch. But now 14 months again elapsed the amounts have not been drawn or no any response received so far. I have also sent mails to ’ as well as RO Regional Office Kandivali (malad) but in vein. No any customer care numbers also responding . Let me know what to do ?


    May I know how to resolve and re-submit this reject reason.

  10. My pf claim settled but returned back meanwhile time I have corrected my ifcs code and other detail and fill ASR form on 27/ 09/ 2021 till now have not hot my money. I lodge complain on epfigm they responseed to reapply claim as per their guidance i have re applied on 9/12/ 2021
    But my claim got rejected on ground that claim already settled ….But actually it got returned and amount is showing in my of account …Now what should I do? plz guide

    • If you have corrected your bank details on UAN portal, then there is no need to submit the ASR form.
      Now again try to claim your PF online, this time you may get your PF amount.

  11. I have submitted claim request on 22nd Nov 21 & the present status is shown as CLAIM SETTLED. Until today I have not received any SMS nor any amount credited. Earlier I have applied for claim but in 3 to 4 days amount used to get credited but this time it has not. Could you please advise on this issue.

    I’ve submitted for claim and the Claim status is showing as Settled but Returned.
    Then I got to know that I submitted wrong bank details. I’ve done KYC for bank and notified the employer about it,

    So, I need to fill reauthorization letter and submit in PF office or I can raise a claim once again online.

    • Your amount will return within 7-10 days, once it shows in your PF passbook then raise a claim again on the UAN portal.
      (or) you can also submit a PF reauthorization form, but for that, you need to visit your PF office.
      So better apply online.

    I have a concern. My claim status is Settled but Returned. But I could see that money which I tried to claim didn’t return to my EPF account. So I have updated my bank details. Still couldn’t see any difference in the amount. Do I need to submit ASR form. If so how can I submit through online.

    I saw that we need to upload or submit cancelled cheques, my concern is I tore my cheques. I just have photos of the cheque now. What can I do about this. Could you please help me with this.

    • You can upload the photo of the cheque but it should consist your name printed on it.
      Returned PF amount will visible after 7-10 days in your PF passbook.
      In the meantime correct your bank details on the UAN portal and ask your employer to approve them
      After approval and PF return, reapply for the PF.

Hello sir , i had applied my pf in 1/08/21 in 6/08/21 claim settle and got message after 3 working days will credit your claim amount but due to old IFSC code again I was updated 27/08/21 in EPFO portal and it’s approved also. But after approval I had wait till 19/09/21. Again I had submitted reautherzation letter in pf office 21/09/21. So already 3 days gone I didn’t get my claim amount. Please give me a solution what I will do.
