I am in the business of security services.
generally a guard joins us for three four months (we are getting PMRPY amount in challan for this employee) and then he left the job for two three months (guards generally keep changing job) after three months he again joins our co. as security guard and this time we again enroll him for EPF and PMRPY will i get benefit of PMRPY amount in challan in next month for this employee.
secondly i am getting benefit of above said scheme for some employees in a particular month but in the next month i didn’t get any benefit for these same employees whereas their attendance is full for both the months. this happens quite often, in many months.

    • Hi Manoj Rai,
PMRPY benefits will be applicable to every establishment. So you have to refund the amount to the principal employer.

    • Hi Shanmukha,
When you have registered your employees successfully in PMRPY portal then their pension amount will be automatically deducted during PF challan generation, you don’t need to pay it.

  3. The case is we have paid PF for NOV 17 on full amount ( including those 4 members). now after that ( in jan 18) we have registered them in PMRPY portal . so , during challan generation for month Dec -17 , under PMRPY benefits, pension amount is shown less ( i think benefit amount is paid by govt ) ?

now i am in confusing that , if the pension amount is already given less in challan, than why i got email from epfo that your reimbursment is accepted and shall receive amount in given bank account?

i mean benefits from two side?

please help in understanding the matter.

    Await for your response.

If it is already deducted then don’t worry. It is a common mail that every employer is getting after using PMRPY.If your amount is not deducted then pension amount will be refunded. So just ignore the mail.

I need to inquire in above matter , that suppose in the month of Nov 17 I have registered 5 employees in epfo. But in the month of january i have registered them at PMRPY portal. So in this case may i eligible to have benefits for those 5 employees for the month of Dec 17 Contribution??

if yes, then how is the process after the successfully registering them at PMRPY portal?????

is it govt shall pay 8.33 % directly or we shall get reimbursment for that amount?

    Kindly help in this matter.

    • Hi Imran,
If you have already paid them PF contribution for the month of Nov 2017 then I think they are not eligible now. But it is better to try it once.
When you successfully register and approve EPF members in PMRPY portal after challan generation & payment that 8.33% contribution of PMRPY members will be reimbursed automatically to employer’s bank account.

      • in this case, i have tried to register them in PMRPY successfully, now challan generation for the month of Dec -17 , shows some benefits under PMRPY .

so after that net amount payable is less . so in that case for that pension amount is being paid by GOVT?
