Solution: Your Bank Account Number is being Verified from the Bank in the PF problem.

With recent changes in the UAN member portal website, some EPF members who are trying to link their bank account details with their PF account are getting this message …

Your bank account number is being verified from the bank. After successful verification from the bank, it will be seeded against your UAN”

If you get above message then you cannot delete the update request and your employer will also can’t see the employee bank details update request in their employer portal.

Until your bank details stay in the pending approval section till then you cannot be able to update details as well. 

Solution to this Problem

1. Whenever you see the above message then wait for 4-5 days, then your bank details will be visible in the approved section. (But still, you cannot able to withdraw PF online)

2. Now you need to re-update your bank details again on the UAN member portal and now you will see a message on the screen that your bank details are awaiting employer approval.

3. Now your employer can see your request in their employer PF portal, and after their approval, with the digital signature, your bank details will be linked with your PF account successfully.

(Or) If you request your employer then they will update and approve your bank details without your involvement in their employer PF portal.

If your KYC details like Aadhar, PAN, or bank account details are not approved by your employer within 60 days from the date of employee request, then the seeded KYC will become invalid.

Hope EPFO will solve this problem soon so that in the coming days the EPF members will not face this problem

IFSC code verification problem on UAN portal

Make sure your banK IFSC code has 11 digits of the alphanumeric code. Due to recent bank mergers, some EPF members are facing this problem. So get the correct IFSC code from your bank and use that for the verification process.

    The bank kyc status has been changed now shows pending with employer for digital signing canara bank doesnt need employer verfication as far as i know whom to contact when there is no other option please reply sir.

  2. my UAN BANK account KYC says, “verification under process since 28.11.22. who has to verify bank account details and how long will it take for verification?

    • Sir ,is your issue resloved ,i am facing the same issue i have added CITI bank details in EPFO(due to incorrect IFSC code i have added again) on 18th Jan 2023 from then it shows Verification under process .There is no change in Status.

  3. Hey, the same issue is with me. I’ve put my bank details on the portal for KYC (sbi account) but it shows “verification under process” for a week now. I contacted my employer as well and they repkied that there are no request for approval there. I’ve tried to put on a complaint on grievence portal as well but its asking to update my registered mobile number which is already there and is verified. what should I do?

    Suddenly in m UAN portal, IFSC code of my bank has changed. I have updated the same and sent for Employer approval. Employer says he has approved.But still I am not able to see correct details in UAN portal. How much time will it take to get reflected in portal after Employee approval. Its been already a month. Still it has not updated in portal.

  5. I have done my bank account kyc on 29 August 2022 (SBI account only) , now the message in status displaying as ”Verification under process” in epfo web portal under UAN login. Am still waiting for approval/response. what i need to do?. I want to claim advance amount w.r.t. medical treatment. Plz sed the correct solution

      • Sir, I have sent a message to EPFO office and as per your guidance registered a complaint on the EPF grievance portal also.
        From the office:”it is informed that KYC request won’t go to respective branch it will verify from system automatically no need manual approval”
        How long should i wait for this? Tell me another option.

  6. I seeded my sbi account on 9/07/2022, it is still pending for verification from bank. I registered for grievances at epfo portal. No action taken was their response. SBI doesn’t need employer verification as far as I know. Whom to contact when there is no other option.

  7. For me too same problem.. I added SBI for EPF KYC on 24 May 2022. SBI has to do the approval. It is showing “Verification under process”. My employer is not able to do it.
    It is too tedious and testing.

      • My too showing verification under process employer is saying it is done by my bank first then they will approve and canara bank says they have no pending entry showing , I have changed my account number on 21st of June 2022, still waiting for the approval

    I have seeded my bank KYC (ICICI bank) on PF portal on 26th May 2022. Its is showing “Verification under process”. I checked with my employer, they can’t see any approval request. Please help me on this ASAP as I want to withdraw money due to urgency.

    • If your bank account details don’t get updated in the next 2-to 3 working days, then register a complaint on the EPF grievance portal.
      But I think in the coming week it may be approved automatically.

    • Wait until this Friday (22 Apri), if it doesn’t get approval then register a complaint on the EPF grievance portal website.

  14. What can be solve name mistake problem. My adhar card name is Jyoti Prosad Borah bt my bank account name is Jyoti prasad Borah. So uan kyc recject due to name mistake. Plz solve this problem.
