This is a rare error that EPF members are getting nowadays when their EPF advance withdrawal claim gets rejected. If you have submitted PF advance withdrawal form 31 then you need to submit certificate A/B/C/D/E/F depending upon the reason for PF advance withdrawal. If you get this reason for general PF withdrawal claims like form 19 and 10C then just ignore this error, it is a system error from EPFO side.
Note: If you are withdrawing PF advance online at the UAN member portal or if you are using EPF composite claim forms like Aadhar or Non-Aadhar, then you don’t need to submit any of this forms.
Depending on the reason for the PF loan you need to fill anyone certificate from certificates ABCDEF. The signature of the employer with an official seal is required on this form. Here are the details of the required form for each PF loan reason.
| Certificate A | During closure or lockout of factory |
| Certificate B | Not receiving wages for 2 months |
| Certificate C | Illness of member of the family member |
| Certificate D | Property damage due to natural calamities like floods, earthquakes, and riots. |
| Certificate E | No work due to power cut |
| Certificate F | Purchasing equipment for physically handicapped persons |
So if your claim is rejected due to the message that certificate a b c d e f not enclosed signed pdf then download the above forms and take your employer signature against the reason of PF withdrawal and submit it to your regional EPF office.

If you are have not applied for PF advance for house-related reasons, then the above reasons are not related to your claim, maybe they are default messages.
So better raise a grievance on the PF grievance portal, so that you will know the actual reason for your claim rejection.

and one more question, my employer is not updating my DOJ EPS even after hundreds or requests and mail. that’s the reason i cannot apply to withdraw my full PF and Pension amount. so i had to apply for PF transfer (Form 13 only). What can be done in that case?

Hi Om, same issue for me as well, I have applied for pf last month and after 20 days they simply rejected my claim by stating abcd certificate not enclosed where as on EPFO website there is no such option to enclose certificate. I will request you to please drop a email or message me once you get any information about this. I was searching for this answer from last 1 month
