This is the easiest and one of the primary methods to contact EPFO whenever you have a problem or queries regarding PF. EPF members can call the EPF toll free help desk number ✆ 1800118005

Call Timings: This number works in between morning 9.15 Am to the evening at 5.45 Pm. In between these timings, EPF members can call to this number.

2. Send Email to EPF Help Desk

EPFO support team responds to emails in a prior manner. EPFO has two separate email ids one is for employee queries and another one is for employer queries.

For employees: employeefeedback@epfindia.gov.in

For employers: employerfeedback@epfindia.gov.in

In general EPFO help desk team will respond to the email queries of employees and employers within 24 to 48 working hours.

3. By Lodging Complaint at EPF Grievance Portal

Lodging complaints at the PF grievance portal is one of the best ways to solve any EPF related problem. Every day there are some lakhs of EPF members and pensioners are getting solutions to their problems through the PF grievance portal.

We need to use our UAN number to login EPF grievance portal, after login we need choose to our PF member ID and grievance category. After choosing the category we need to type the problem.

4. Contact EPFO through their Twitter Page

Right to Information act allows you to get information from various public authorities under state government and public government. EPFO comes under the central government, so anyone can get their required information by filing an RTI application on the RTI portal.

If you haven’t registered on the RTI portal till now, then first you need to register on the RTI website, and later you need to sign in with your user Id and password.

    Issue ,1 Pass book not showing.
    2 KYC not showing AADHAAR.
    3 claim not open.

    Earlier i had one PF Account which i already merged in my new employer and all the amount has been transferred to my new account.
    After all the approval i have received some more amount Rs-5814 i was received in my previous account and that amount still show in my previous account.
    how can transfer these amounts.

    I have two UAN and already transferred the PF balance to the new UAN. But how can I transfer my service details linked with old UAN to the new one? If I deactivate the old UAN then my service details also will not reflect . How to rectify this .

    • If you have transferred your PF then your service will also transfer. No need to deactivate old UANs, continue with the latest UAN in all your future jobs.

        I have already transferred the PF amount. But when I login with my current UAN then in the service history I do not see the member id (which is linked with my previous UAN) listed there. Is there any way to move the it to the current UAN. So that if I login to epfo service history, all my services can be seen.

        • After PF transfer all your PF member ids will be shown under the service history of your latest UAN.
          If you are not seeing it on your UAN portal,register a complaint on EPF grievance portal to solve the issue.

  12. I am facing problem opening the passbook giving error mention in screenhot1 attached.. I found 2 uan which is linked to my adhaar
    old uan(100659215881)
    new uan(100866531606)

    also if I try to raise a transfer claim to new uan I got the error message “Previous establishment is PF exempted” (mention in screen shot 2).
    I am not able to find the solution anywhere..
    Please help me to find the solution

    When i try to pull an advance iam getting a message. as
    “The bank account linked with this account is also linked with the following UANs : 10022403XXXX, 10024192XXXX (with different demographic details). If these UANs are yours, then please get the basic details corrected in your other UANs and link them with your Aadhar for transfer of your accounts to the present one. If this bank account is not yours then please add your correct bank account and get it approved by the employer to avail online claim facility.”

    • That means your bank account was already linked to another UAN account of yours.
      Now you have two options 1. Transfer your PF from your old UAN to present UAN, after transfer withdraw total PF from your latest PF account
      2. If you have any other bank account, then link it to your present PF account, then you will not see above message.

    • Transfer PF from your first UAN account to your second UAN account, and continue the second UAN life long.
      But to transfer PF, your details should match in both UANs, if they don’t match then wrong details have to be corrected.

    My self shruthi here i have applied for pf claim on 6th dec and got message saying that your pf amount got setteled will get credited in 3 days on 9th dec. and today its 22nd till now amount has not been credited and all my details are correct now how to get my amount pls give a suggetion

  16. I am a small employer of 13 personnel. one UAN 100108770838 submitted for kyc correction . employee working from 2004 . Now the ECR is uploded for april 2021 I removed the employee for april and may then uploded the ecr and paid for the rest of personnel.
    What should i do ? How to correct the KYC How to pay the PF April and May amount

    • Name correction can be done in the UAN portal of the employee using his Aadhar number.
      For payment of EPF contribution, it is better to contact the EPF grievance portal, they can give you a better solution.
