If your date of birth is wrong in your EPF account and the difference is less than 3 years then you can correct your DOB in PF online in the UAN portal using your Aadhar number. But if the difference is above 10 years then you need to submit/upload a PF joint declaration form, and a request letter to correct your DOB and supporting documents.
EPF accounts in which the date of birth is more than 3 years different when compared to the actual DOB of the person then Aadhar is not enough, you have to submit the other date of birth proofs to the PF office.

You need to submit any one of the following documents along with PF joint declaration form, request letter, and Aadhar.

With due respect, I am writing this letter for correction of my date of birth in my PF account associated with UAN: 00071XXX998, and PF member ID: APHYD0059903000000XXX9.
My actual date of birth is 01/01/1951, but in my PF records, my DOB is mentioned as 01/07/1961.
Hence the difference in my actual DOB and PF is almost 10 yrs., I couldn’t able to correct it online on the UAN member portal.
Here I am attaching all the required documents like PF joint declaration form, my Aadhar card and date of birth certificate copies for your verification and kindly correct my date of birth to 01/01/1951.
