Updating or editing or changing family details will be done by the employer only, so whenever the ESIC members want to update their family member details then they have to contact their employer, then the employer will update those details in their employer ESIC Portal.
Updating or editing family details of the ESIC member is a very easy process, employers can complete that process in a few minutes.
To update family details, the insured person should submit his/her Aadhar card copy, based on the details on the Aadhar your employer will update your family member details in the ESIC portal.
Updating Family Members Details in ESIC Portal Online
Step 1: Login in employer ESIC portal wither establishment user id and password.
Step 2: now click on update particulars of insured person under the employee section on the ESIC portal home page.
Step 3: Now enter the IP number of the insured person and click on search.Now the name of the employee will appear. Now click on edit option.
Step 4: Now click on family details and update the family details of the employee. If you want to edit the previously updated details then you can edit them also.
After updating the details accept the declaration and click on submit, then the family members details will be added to the ESIC account of the insured person.
Incase the insured person wants to remove any of the family members then remove that family member from active family members list.
After removing, their details will be seen in inactive family details.
After updating family members, details in the ESIC portal get a new ESIC Pehchan card from the employer with the updated details.
By using the new Pehchan card, the insured person and family members can get treatment in their respective ESIC dispensaries.
