How to Resubmit Rejected PF Claim Online

You can resubmit the rejected PF claim on the UAN member portal as many times as you want, there is no limit for that, but before that make sure that you rectified the reason for your PF claim rejection.

And also make sure that your  bank account number and IFSC code are correct so that you will 100% receive your PF claim amount

What to Do When PF Claim is Rejected

Whenever your PF claim status shows your claim has been rejected, then the first thing you need to notice is the reason for your PF claim rejection. You can find the reason for the rejection in PF claim status.

Once you identify the reason then the next step is to solve that problem. For example, if your claim is rejected due to your name not printed on the cheque.

Then you have to get a new cheque book from the bank or bank passbook, and then you can resubmit your PF claim again in UAN member portal.

How to Reapply for Rejected PF Claim.

The process of resubmitting rejected PF claim is as same as normal PF apply process, but you have to this after rectifying the reason of your PF claim rejection.

Step 1: Login in UAN member portal with your user id and password.

Step 2: Go to online services and click on claim form 19,10C and 31,

Step 3: Now enter your bank account number and verify it.

Step 4: Now select the form which you want to apply.

Step 5: Now enter your details like your address, and upload the image of the cheque or bank passbook.

Step 6: Now enter the OTP and submit your PF claim, and you will receive your PF amount within 20 days from the date of application.

Wha to do if you dont’ know the reason of PF claim rejection

Sometimes EPF claim status doesn’t show the actual reason for PF claim rejection, in that case, you need to raise a complaint on the EPF grievance portal so that you will know the exact reason for your PF claim rejection within 48 hours.

    MEMBER WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY PENSION MEMBER WHY GIVE EPS MEMBERSHIP CLARIFY

    1. I had worked for a company where my basic was less than 15000 per month, so I used to get 1250 deposited as pension contribution.
    Later I joined a company, where my basic is more than 15000 per month, but they have deposited pension contribution.
    Could this be the reason for my claim rejection.
    If so, how do I correct it.
    2. How do I give clarification on the above to the EPF officer.

  6. My EPF claim got rejected stating that
    Form-10D: Claim Rejected KINDLY SUBMIT CLARIFICATION REGARDING PREVIOUS SERVICE AND REAPPLY.
    I’ve worked in 4 Companies and EPF amount transferred company to company. I’ve with drawn PF amount for the First 2 companies and the 2nd company issued me the scheme certificate. Further 3rd company transferred my EPF amount to the 4th company. In my fourth company the establishment name was changed due to company taken over and transferred my EPF amount accordingly. The present employer mentioned on my retirement only doj and doe of EPF in service history without mentioning previous employers which shows only 5.9 years of service. Please suggest me how to correct and provide clarification and reply on this.

    • May be you have a pension amount along with your PF in your fist two companies, so please check it.
      If you have withdrawn it then that service period will not be considered.

    • Please check whether your present employer is paying pension contributions to your PF account or not. You can check it in the last column of your present company’s PF book.
      If your employer is not paying, then your employer has to write a letter to the PF office stating the issue of not contributing to the pension.
      If they are already paying the pension, better register a complaint on the PF grievance portal to know the exact reason.

    My PF Claim is Rejected with this reasons “Rejected TR IN PENDING RESUBMITTED THE CLAIM” for Form 10 C and ” Claim Rejected HIGHER WAGES NEEDS CLARIFICATION” for Form 19 .
    what is the reason and solution

    • May be your company has paid more pension amount. In general, companies need to pay 8.33% of basic was as a pension.
      If it is the case your employer needs to submit a clarification letter to the PF office by stating the above issue, after that you can withdraw your entire pension and PF as well.

    Actually, joint A/c holder is indeed my Wife, But it seems EPFO does not know this.

    1. I have completed 5 years of service and moved to another firm. How much percentage of PF can i withdraw for house construction from my previous organization account?
    2. My father’s name was update by previous employer and they have used my name in my father’s name field. now my UAN number reflects my name as my father’s. How can i change this?
    3. My bank account is already linked to PF account however my cheque book will not have my initial. will this be an issue?

  12. My rejection reason or Current Status on the portal states: “Claim Rejected IT IS OBSERVED THAT MEMBERS CONT AND WAGES ARE SAME PLS CLRFY WHETHER PERMISSION HAS BEEN OBTAINED”

    Now my query is what’s the meaning of this? How to seek clarification on this and respond to this query?

    • As per your message your basic wage and PF contribution are the same. So please check your PF passbook.
      If that reason is true then you have to solve the issue with the help of your employer because it is their mistake.

  14. My Claim was rejected with below reason:

    Your Claim has been rejected due to : 1) EPS SHARE WRONGLY REMITTED FOR 6500 INSTEAD OF 15000 2) NOT ELIGIBLE-INSUFFICIENT SERVICE

    It seems when the EPS was changed from 6500 to 15000 from Sep-2014, my organization kept on submitting 541 Rs Monthly till Dec-2016. I did a partial claim in Dec-2018 which was approved and I got the amount but when I did again for some financial need, it has been rejected. I applied the claim against “Purchase of House / Flat / Construction including acquisition if site from agency”. Does anyone know the reason and solution for these two issues?

  15. My PF claim got rejected stating that cheque photo not attached. However, I have attached and confirmed the same before submitting it. Does anyone know why was this reason given for rejection?

    • Maybe your service is below 6 yrs or above 9.6 years. If it is not the case then register a complaint on EPF grievance portal to know the exact reason of your claim rejection.

    • Kindly check your PF passbook, to know whether your employer has paid PF contributions until your date of exit mentioned on the UAN member portal.
